When I first saw Interstellar<\/a> in the cinema I was somewhat disappointed. Mainly due to high expectations from an acclaimed director Christopher Nolan and being interested in all things space related I felt the story-line could have been better. Then on the other hand most of us don\u2019t comprehend<\/a> a fifth dimension that well along with dialogue in key scenes that was so soft it was easy to miss important context<\/a>. Which just happened to be another deliberate ploy from Nolan used in this movie for a reason that is obscure to me. Now that I have watched it many times since it has grown on me despite those frustrating<\/a> quirks. However one thing that went way beyond my expectations was the soundtrack to this movie. Composed by Hans Zimmer<\/a> a modern day musical genius if you asked any of his fans. The soundtrack was outstanding and his ability to paint a musical<\/a> picture that fits what you are seeing visually on the screen is a special kind of skill that combines story telling with sound. So that grabbed me straight away, a huge emotive pull like many of the other movies he has composed scores for, such as The Last Samurai<\/a> and Inception<\/a>. So when I came across this cover of Interstellar from another skilful you-tuber playing his own arrangement of this complex piece with just an electric piano I thought it deserved a re-post. Plus this cover<\/a> played in a train station only recorded on a phone is also worthy of praise despite the audio background noise intrusion.<\/p>\n
